Justin L. Sullivan’s practice is focused on construction and agricultural related matters. He has spent over 20 years in the industries.
After beginning with laboring on family farms in Buchanan County, Iowa and then working in a variety of roles from frame carpentry to National Technical & Warranty Manager at an international construction materials manufacturer, the warranty experience led Justin Sullivan to pursue a legal career. Justin graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, receiving Dean’s List Honors and focusing his education on Environmental Law and Land Use Planning. Completing an internship at the Environmental Protection Agency-Agricultural Center in Kansas City, KS along the way.
An Iowa native, Justin chose to practice in the Des Moines metropolitan area, centrally located to serve farmers, contractors, and design professionals statewide. Licensed in both Iowa and Missouri, Justin has worked in agribusiness with family farmers and contractors in Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.
His practice includes, but is not limited to, construction law, agricultural law, contracts, employment law, business law, real estate & estate planning and probate.
Justin also holds the position of Executive Secretary for the Iowa Roofing Contractors Association and is a member of the Iowa Land Improvement Contractors Association and the Knights of Columbus. He is licensed to practice law in Iowa, Missouri, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa and has appeared pro hac vice in the state courts of Kansas.
